ParaMag ITB (Inertia Transfer Braking) is the highest-quality cast control on the market, enabling maximum control and efficiency without sacrificing casting distance. After dialing in settings to meet your preferences, ITB takes the reins. Its highly responsive magnetic eddy current systems seamlessly adjusts, providing precisely the right amount of force in proportion to your casting speed, virtually eliminating the need to thumb the spool with every cast and effectively reducing backlashes.
The lack of magnetic braking force being applied while the spool is engaged provides a completely "free" feel while reeling. The ParaMag ITB system is fully magnetic and does not require brake shoes, eliminating friction for extreme durability and long-lasting, consistent performance.
